Our Evacuation Chair Training Course can be delivered on your premises and will equip delegates with the ability to safely use evacuation chairs (or ‘Evac Chairs’). The course covers the deployment and handling of an evacuation chair and user. It will also cover advice on the siting of chairs as well as improving awareness of their uses.

Who should attend?

The course is aimed at anyone who may need to use evacuation chairs.

Delegates will achieve confidence and the learn the following:

  • Know the limitations of the Evacuation Chair
  • State the procedure to be adopted if an emergency evacuation is required
  • Have a full working knowledge of the operation of the chair
  • Demonstrate their ability to use the chair in a realistic scenario

How long does the course last?

This is a half day course, and we recommend refresher training is carried out annually.
