• Sales Coordinator

    Working closely with the Sales leadership team, the post holder is responsible for originating and developing new business opportunities for the company. Duties include opportunity origination to coordinating proposal submissions.

    The successful postholder will be trained and progressively upskilled to directly undertake the preparation of consultancy proposals covering a wide array of fire safety compliance consultancy services including Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Surveys and Inspections, Fire Stopping Surveys, Fire Evacuation plan development and emergency plan and procedure development.

    Summary of Main Duties

    • Establish initial contact with target clients/customers to build awareness of Pyro’s services
    • Gather site specific information from clients to enable proposals
    • Liaise with company technical staff to ensure accurate proposals are developed and presented to clients
    • Follow-up on proposals to support proposal acceptance
    • Produce activity reports qualifying prospect and order base performance
    • Contribute to the ongoing development of company sales processes and sales collateral
    • Develop an understanding of the technical requirements associated with the works.
    • Prospect new clients and action website and telephone sales enquiries
    • Ensure all works secured are promptly handed to the company’s operations team in accordance with company processes
    • Participate in company training and staff meetings/orientation
    • Carries out other ad hoc duties, as required by the business from time to time

    Key Requirements

    • Good IT skills – Excel, Word, Outlook, OneDrive, Adobe Acrobat
    • Full UK driving license
    • Good communication and excellent customer engagement skills
    • Ability to network and make new connections
    • To be able to work independently and use initiative
    • Willing to learn about UK fire safety requirements
