As a BAFE SP205 Certificated Company, Pyro maintains the highest standards of competency and customer service possible, and the ideal candidate will be expected to meet this in addition to being supported for continuous improvement.

We are passionate about protecting people and property.

The successful candidate will have access to technical support from our in-house fire engineering team and existing fire risk assessors from different backgrounds. Pyro will provide regular CPD training and a mentoring programme.

    About the Role

We’re looking for a fire risk assessor who is based in the Southampton area to work on a subcontracted basis – the role will also require occasional travel to London.

This role presents the opportunity for someone to join a close-knit team. If you are interested in partnering with one of the best and fastest growing fire consultancy practices, and have a real passion for excellence and fire safety, then we would love to hear from you.

Pyro Fire Services are seeking a highly motivated and proactive full-time Fire Risk Assessor to join their expert team. The assessor will be provided with a state-of-the-art mobile app and online risk management portal to complete assessments, in addition to ongoing technical support and training.

Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential. Membership of one of the following are desirable: IFE / IFSM / TFRAR membership would be an advantage (we will support you through this process).

If already conducting FRAs, the assessor will need to demonstrate a proven track record in conducting and writing a Fire Risk Assessment in a report format in a range of settings demonstrating an understanding of risk analysis as opposed to just advising and quoting current fire safety guidance and standards. All our assessments are completed via an interactive app and as such IT skills will be required to meet demand.  The successful candidate must be able to work to required deadlines for FRA submission – usually within 7 days.
